Pretty Brad

The other night I was folding clothes down stairs and Carsyn yelled to me "mom come up stairs and look at daddy" This is what I found. Brad let the kids do his hair, doesn't he look beautiful!

My Little Monster

Nixon loves to dress up, but lately he has been wearing this costume that Caden wore for Halloween when he was 2. It is a little small and it makes me sweat just watching him play in it. I have no idea why he likes to wear it but it sure is cute to me!

Learn How To Spell

The other day, Brad and I were driving and we came across this sign, we both thought it was great! I just might send it in to David Letterman.

Go Red Sox

If anyone knows my husband, they know that he and his family love love love the Boston Red Sox. So every year when the Red Sox play a team in California we want to go watch them play. Sometimes it doesn't work out since the Red Sox games get sold out usually. This year it worked out we went on Saturday to a game verses the Angels. Our seats weren't that great since the good seats were about 100 dollars a piece. We opted for the 17 dollar seats. It was still fun. It was a little hot out in the sun but the occasional breeze felt like heaven. We ended up sitting close to the bull pin which was cool because the pitchers and the catchers were practicing and we got to see the players up close. One of these days we will fulfill

Brad's life long dream, and actually watch a game in Boston and see the Green Monster. Maybe for our 15 year anniversary, Brad would love me to death!!

Carsyn's Pony Ride

When we were at The Party Corral, Carsyn got to ride a pony. Wow, it looked like she was bored to death. Notice how happy the girl pulling the pony looks.

Kids Camp 2008

Thursday I took my kids and my sister's son to The Breeze kids camp at The Party Corral. It was nice that everything was free, but I can't stand petting zoos! They stink and it is always hot outside when I've been to a petting zoo.  The kids enjoyed feeding the animals, they liked the bounce house and they some what enjoyed the train pulled by a ride on lawn mower. Here are some pictures to show how enthused my kids were about The Party Corral.

Boring summer!

I can't believe how slow this summer is going by. My kids are bored and so am I. We did our big vacations right at the beginning of summer now we are sticking out the rest of summer in town. We have been swimming every day and have gone to the movies a few times. I am ready for school to begin and for soccer and dance to start up again!

4th of July

We went to the lake in the morning, with my family, and had a ton of fun. The kids love any time they can spend with their cousins. After the lake we had Brad's family over for swimming and for fireworks. It was a long and eventful day!

The little big guy!

Caden had his cousin Gavin spend the night tonight. I had them playing video games up stairs and I put Nixon to bed. Well about 30 minutes later Caden comes down stairs and said "Nixon is asleep in the chair I want to sit in" So I went up stairs and found this. I guess he thought he would sneak out and hang with the big boys.

Brad's Softball Games

Brad started playing softball on a league with some guys from work. I actually like to go watch him play, the problem is, he plays at some scary parks. Like Wayside park and Martin Luther King park! We went to watch him last week and it was light outside. The first thing Carsyn asked was mom, why do they write on their trash cans here? I am just glad she can't read everything yet! Then as we were sitting there a girl being walked by her pitbull, walked by, and all of the sudden the pitbull broke its leash! I was so glad another lady had her little dogs there and the pitbull went to attack them and not me and my kids! Then of course Carsyn needed to use the restroom, and I had to take her and all my kids, plus my niece and nephew. When we walked up to the bathroom there were 2 shopping carts full of treasures and the nice people who have taken over the Vons shopping carts were close by and the kids thought I was wierd when I kept saying hurry up were going to miss the game. We actually came out of the bathroom alive so that was a plus! Well tonight Brad is playing again at MLK park and we decided not to go watch him, since they say that if the ball gets hit over the fence in the dark do not try to go get it, just take it as a loss, because they don't know what kind of characters are lurking around at night! Scary!!!!
